Fresh from one rain-lashed weekend, the Malaysian Grand Prix looks set to be another during which the teams will be looking to the skies. Fernando Alonso won here in similar conditions in 2012 and is 10/3 to do the same again this year while Australian GP winner Kimi Raikkonen is generously priced at 4/1.
Further down the field, the Toro Rosso pair of Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo are both 2/1 to finish in the points, and the STR8 has looked a very strong car in the wet. Vergne looks marginally more comfortable when it rains, but don't get tempted by the 10/1 for a top six finish as the track tends to dry quickly when it stops raining. Nico Hulkenberg is 9/2 to finish in the top six and the new Sauber should have lost none of its predecessor's pace in the wet, but is also quick enough in the dry to maintain a lofty position.
If qualifying is where you want to place your money, then at 16/1 to take pole position Nico Rosberg is worth an each-way bet.
