Pacquiao to pick up a points win

It’s Manny Pacquiao v Juan Manuel Marquez four on Saturday and the bookies make Pacquiao a strong favourite.

In the three previous meetings, Pacquiao has two wins and a draw to his name. That does not tell the whole story, as the Marquez camp feel two of those bouts should have gone their way.

What they did tell us is that it is likely to be a war. Marquez has climbed off the canvas in two of their meetings and all have gone to points. Pacquiao’s camp have talked positively about going for a knockout to end any chance of controversy, but it just has the shape of a fight that will go the distance. Pacquiao wants a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr, to do that he needs to beat Marquez and a decision on the cards to go his way is 5/4.

If you fancy Marquez to edge it on the cards, he can be backed at 3/1 – while a second draw can be had at 20/1.
