5/1 Garcia to surge in Malaysia

The Betting Bunker is not one for tipping favourites, but we feel Sergio Garcia just has to be backed at this week's Iskandar Johor Open.

It’s not the highest quality field ever assembled, with Garcia and Ernie Els the standout performers. Garcia shades the betting at 5/1 and we feel he just has to be backed.

The Spaniard has a superb record towards the end of the year, he has won eight times in the closing four months of the year, and comes into the event in superb form – having finished ninth at the DP World Tour Championship and fourth at the Thailand Golf Championship. We feel he could go wire to wire at the Horizon Hills Golf and Country Club.
