For Gerrard, 100 games ... and a goal?

The Swedish FA may have different ideas (did someone say something about a new stadium?!) but Wednesday's international friendly between England and Sweden is all about one man - Steven Gerrard.

Captain for club and country, Gerrard will make his 100th appearance for the Three Lions at the Friends Arena - becoming just the sixth player in history to do so. It's not hard to imagine that such a memorable occasion could be met with a celebratory goal - especially as, with few other experienced players in the team, he is likely to take any free-kicks and penalties that are won.

Gerrard to score first (or last) in the game can be grabbed at 11/1 with bet365, or you can cover your bases and get anytime at 15/4. Happy hunting!
