City need to be wary of Cisse threat

After the drama of Monday night, Manchester City have the chance to ram home their advantage in the Premier League title race – but they face no easy task with a trip to in-form Newcastle. City boss Roberto Mancini still claims Manchester United are the favourites but few, certainly not the bookies, believe him. If his side can get the job done on Tyneside, City can head home for the final game of the season against QPR knowing it’s almost done.

But can they get it done at Newcastle? Papiss Cisse’s two stunners at Chelsea suggest the Magpies can ruffle feathers. Cisse is 13/2 with bet365 to score the first goal and his form of late makes that a decent bet, but the City midfield led by Yaya Toure will look to dominate and dictate. Toure was immense against United and it would come as no surprise if the Ivorian had a say in things. His eye for goal make him a decent option to hit the target and we feel he could grab a goal in a 1-1 draw – which is 40/1 with bet365.

Tottenham have had a wobble but looked good in demolishing Bolton. Emmanuel Adebayor was on target and he could carry that form into the trip to Aston Villa and bet365 offer 11/2 that he nets two goals or more.

The weekend treble is always on our radar and we are going for Everton to pile more woe on relegated Wolves (7/10), Bolton to beat West Brom (Evs) and Aston Villa to beat Tottenham (16/5). A tenner will bring in £142.80. Happy punting.
