Wembley days offer potential pay

All eyes descend on Wembley for two mouth-watering FA Cup semi-finals this weekend - which see Liverpool face Everton in a Merseyside derby on Saturday, before Chelsea and Tottenham do battle to decide who will be the southern representative at May’s showpiece final.

The all-Liverpool affair has garnered plenty of headlines – and is exclusively live on ESPN – already this week, especially after Damien Comolli paid the price for some poor transfer dealings with his job on Thursday. It would be suitably ironic if the man most likely to have cost the Frenchman his employment, £35m Andy Carroll, scored a crucial derby goal for the Reds – deciding a game against Everton just as he did at Goodison Park earlier in the season. You can get him to score first (or last) at 7/1 with bet365.

In the Sunday kick-off, much has been made of Chelsea’s disappointment at the scheduling – with a Champions League semi-final against Barcelona awaiting them in midweek. If you think they will be distracted by that looming contest, you can tip Tottenham to lead at both half-time and full-time at 3/1.

Alternatively, if you reckon the final will see a pre-match battle about who will get to wear blue, then you can back Everton and Chelsea together at just over 7/1 with bet365.
