Another weekend, another set of football punting opportunities. It’s getting towards the business end and you can have teams raising their games and others faltering for no reason whatsoever (Liverpool 2-0 up to lose 3-2 at QPR).
With this in mind, it is prudent to not go overboard – but we do have a couple of tasty wagers to keep us interested this weekend.
Didier Drogba cut a surly figure after being left on the bench against Manchester City, with his 25-minute appearance not one of his vintage displays. He is likely to be thrust back into the Chelsea side against Spurs on Saturday lunchtime and we feel he is nailed on to try and prove a point - and there’s no better way than bagging the first goal at 5/1 bet365.
Liverpool are pretty unpredictable at the moment, which does not make for attractive punting, but they entertain a Wigan side who have been in impressive form without converting those efforts into points.
